(On-line forms are sent automatically when the exhibitor hits ‘submit’&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The benefits of online registrations are:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. it’s cheaper&lt;br /&gt;2. it’s faster&lt;br /&gt;3. it’s greener&lt;br /&gt;4. it’s easier&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fascia names can be filled out by the exhibitor and sent directly to the organiser &amp;amp; to Exhibition Co’s &lt;a href="http://www.exhibitionco.com.au/signage.html"&gt;signage &lt;/a&gt;department simultaneously – which cuts out the middle man, speeding up the process and cutting back on error………. In the past this has been handwritten and faxed allowing for mis-interpretations and mis-prints. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The site has been designed for ease of use by anyone. Even those with little experience in computers or on-line ordering will find it simple to navigate. The organizer and exhibition provider can interact directly with each exhibitor and information is passed on almost immediately. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bookings for &lt;a href="http://www.exhibitionco.com.au/store/home.php"&gt;rental furniture&lt;/a&gt;, signage, power options, &lt;a href="http://www.exhibitionco.com.au/store/Flooring/"&gt;flooring&lt;/a&gt; options and stand upgrades and accessories can be processed via this on-line format too, and is done so instantaneously. As soon as the form is sent, Exhibition Co. can start to process the requests. These can be custom designed or just used to upgrade your standard stand package. With eye catching graphics and the right &lt;a href="http://www.exhibitionco.com.au/store/home.php"&gt;exhibition hire furniture&lt;/a&gt;, these stands can be a great choice for the budget minded. A modular exhibition stand can be assembled in different ways to fit a smaller or larger space. This makes them the ideal choice for traveling shows or for repeated use of the same stand where the graphics can be interchangeable.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Island Exhibition Stand&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;An island stand is one which has no adjoining walls with other exhibitors. Often these stands are just booked as floor space and a custom exhibition stand designer is employed to create the best use of the space allocated. These stands are practically limitless in design options.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Portables&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A portable exhibit is one which, as the name suggests, can be easily transported. Usually this consists of a banner or rolled up printed panels which attach to a lightweight frame, all of which can be packed easily into a carry case. The carry case will then double up as a desk. Generally a ‘portable’ display is one which can be erected by one person alone. Again – great for the budget conscious as once you purchase your portable stand, the graphic panels can be changed for each use. Portable banner stands are a good idea for shopping centres and the like. They are not as sturdy as a modular stand.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Custom Exhibition Stand&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A custom stand is one which is designed and built from scratch and made to the specific needs of the individual exhibitor. This exhibition is run by ADIA - the Australian Dental Industry Association. They are the national industry body for all things dentistry and have been organising this show for several years now. If you have no visitors, you are not making new leads or contact and after all, this is the reason you are there in the first place.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You have to stand out against your competitors, but also create an inviting and enticing space to which people will be drawn. You want people to feel comfortable while they are there, and you want them to hang around for a while to see what you have on offer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Make sure there are no physical barriers stopping people from wandering on to your exhibition stand. You don’t want people intimidated before they have even taken a step onto your stand.&lt;br /&gt;People will initially be attracted to colours and lights and strong &lt;a href="http://www.exhibitionco.com.au/signage.html"&gt;exhibition signage&lt;/a&gt; but the only reason they will stay around is if you give them a reason to stay. Once visitors have entered your space have something for them to look at/touch/read/listen to etc.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of your most important and effective marketing tools on your exhibition stand will be your staff. Good staff on your exhibition stand are vital in making your visitors stick around. You must make your visitors feel important. The better you can make them feel, the more chance they will remember you over your competitors.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Create a crowd if possible. People can’t help themselves. They will always come and have a look at what the fuss is about. If you can afford to employ a speaker or spruiker, do so.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Have something to give your visitors. Make sure you have brochures on offer for them to look at – but also think about something ‘gimmicky’ to give away. Any kind of ‘show bag’ with your logo emblazoned on the side is a good idea as your visitors will then carry it around the exhibition hall advertising your company for you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Most importantly - Don’t lose sight of what you are fundamentally at the exhibition or trade show for. The shows will start in &lt;a href="http://www.nccc.com.au/news/" target="_blank" title="Canberra NCC"&gt;Canberra NCC &lt;/a&gt;on March 11th and then &lt;a href="http://www.scec.com.au/" target="_blank" title="SCEC"&gt;Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre&lt;/a&gt; 17th March. The show then moves on to Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart, Melbourne and Perth throughout April to August.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The show is operated by Ingram Micro and &lt;a href="http://www.exhibitionco.com.au/resources/the-exhibition-company/"&gt;Exhibition Co. are their official contractors &lt;/a&gt;to the show. We are at present taking orders for all furniture hire and AV requirements. We are also offering 'upgrades' to the shell scheme booths.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All work will be taken on in-house. We have a 3000sq metre workshop in which everything will be built. We will also be producing all the fascias in-house and a majority of the extra printing and graphics. We also have three smaller (1.5m) printers and plotters and two laminators.
