Now Exhibitors can Register Online

Exhibition Co. has spent the last few months designing and developing an on-line exhibitor manual and registration area to make the process of exhibitor registration easier for the organizer, individual exhibitor and exhibition provider alike.

The process:
Each exhibitor is sent an email with their unique log-in details and a direct link to the on-line registration site. They are then led to the initial on-line manual ‘landing page’ where they get a general overview of all the guidelines and information for both venue and the specific show. (The first show to use the online registration is the upcoming ACI 49th World Congress, in Sydney in March.) This page has all the exhibitor info, including exhibitor manual, forms to be filled out, venue information, venue forms etc.

The main registration forms can be filled out directly on-line, whilst venue forms can be downloaded from the site and filled out separately, each to be sent to the relevant party. (On-line forms are sent automatically when the exhibitor hits ‘submit’

The benefits of online registrations are:

1. it’s cheaper
2. it’s faster
3. it’s greener
4. it’s easier

Fascia names can be filled out by the exhibitor and sent directly to the organiser & to Exhibition Co’s signage department simultaneously – which cuts out the middle man, speeding up the process and cutting back on error………. In the past this has been handwritten and faxed allowing for mis-interpretations and mis-prints.

The site has been designed for ease of use by anyone. Even those with little experience in computers or on-line ordering will find it simple to navigate. The organizer and exhibition provider can interact directly with each exhibitor and information is passed on almost immediately.

Bookings for rental furniture, signage, power options, flooring options and stand upgrades and accessories can be processed via this on-line format too, and is done so instantaneously. As soon as the form is sent, Exhibition Co. can start to process the requests. Exhibitors can pay for any extras directly on-line, again saving time on postage and processing of cheques.

Another advantage of this system is the ability to update or add information as it comes in. The exhibition organizer can make changes on-line keeping each exhibitor up to date with opening times, workshop times, install and dismantle times and any other events happening in-line with the show.

Also, the on-line registration allows Exhibition Co. to keep track of orders and the status of each individual exhibitor. Reminders can be sent out via email depending on the progress of each person.

In the past the exhibitor manual has been provided as a multiple page document printed out and sent to each exhibitor. So not only is this option easier but by saving paper print-outs, it is greener and cheaper too.
