Fine Food Australia claims to be the ‘largest gathering of international and local food, drink and equipment for retail, food service and hospitality industries’.
The show will be held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre from Sept. 5th – 8th 2011 and anyone involved in hospitality, retail or the foodservice industry should make a date in their calendar to attend.
The event will showcase 100s of new ideas which promise to change the food industry for the better. Fine Food has gained the reputation as being the only truly international ‘foodie’ event in Australia. The latest gadgets, products & services will be on show so anyone in the industry can stay up to date with new developments.
To make it easier for visitors to navigate such a huge show, the event has been divided into dedicated zones such as “Bakery World”, Meat & Seafood World”, Drinks World and many more. Each zone will showcase new products and a range of equipment used in each category.
There will also be technology and equipment on show which not necessarily directly involved with food – but certainly used by the industry such as cash systems, scanners & software.
To keep things lively, Australia’s top foodies are invited to take up the gauntlet in a variety of food related challenges. ‘The Australian Culinary Challenge’ is one of the leading chefs competitions in Australia. Over four days top restaurants, apprentices and chefs will compete for recognition and cash prizes so if you are one of the exhibitors, come and show off your talents or if you are visiting the show, come and watch some of Australia’s finest in action.
Other competitions include Bakeskills, The Ofiicial Great Aussie Meat Pie Competition, The Barista Cup, Butcher’s Competition and The Great Australian Sandwichship.
Also The Food Industry Service Forum will invite a panel of guests to discuss their views on the state of the industry as a whole and trends and challenges involved with being in the service industry.
Exhibitors with last minute stand requirements or furniture hire needs should contact their chosen exhibition & hire company ASAP. Call or email Exhibition Co. if you need assistance.
